has recognized Craig as their 'resident architect' since he has collaborated with Tom Watson, PGA on a facility outside Kansas City, Missouri and worked on the design and construction of two other First Tee Facilities in Baton Rouge (Clark Park) and Akron, Ohio (Mud Run).
Craig Schreiner, ASGCA, ASLA, is President of Schreiner Golf, Inc., (SGI), which has designed public, private and resort golf course projects throughout the North & Central Americas. Craig's comprehensive construction and turfgrass background, experience and ingenuity have made him one of the consummate golf course architects in the nation. Craig emphasizes strategic design values, blending classic golf course architecture with the environment, accentuating nature's beauty and unique harmony.
His collegiate experience combined playing golf and studying ecology in over 20 countries representing the extremes of nature ranging from the Swiss Alps to the Headwaters of the Amazon River. "We understand that each golf course must reflect the subtle nuances of nature to distinguish it from all other layouts." The 'Old Course' in St. Andrews, Scotland demonstrates this important design criterion. The study of new towns and golf courses around the world keeps our design skills honed.
SGI offers clients comprehensive golf course & residential master planning, design, renovation, construction, landscape architecture, estimating, and environmental improvement services unparalleled in the golf industry. The firm is recognized and respected by golf course contractors for the accuracy, practicality, and completeness of working drawings hinged on MicroStation® computer engineering and graphic technology. "All our projects are 'Tri-Engineered'."
When you work with us, you'll find we're dedicated to a relationship based on respect, enthusiasm for golf and uncompromised personal service.
